Training
Why Train with Bullet Consulting?
Because we’ve been there, done that.
We realize there are many options for you to choose from when seeking Lean Six Sigma instruction. Our approach differs significantly from others; rather than hiring a consultant to come on-site and conduct in-house training, or go to a hotel ballroom somewhere, our training is conducted in a lean operation (that happens to be a Brewery and Distillery).
In this environment, we can not only explain the tools and concepts of Lean Six Sigma, but also demonstrate how they can be applied, how they work in real life, and what challenges you may run up against while implementing them. Our instructors can speak from first-hand experience; our training environment is a working brewery where we use these tools and systems every day.

Not only do we offer world-class training and instruction, our “Brewstillery” experience is unique in the Lean Six Sigma industry. Nowhere else can you attend this level of Lean Six Sigma training in an environment where you can see how the systems work first-hand and ask questions from those employees who use the tools and systems daily.

After this program, the participant will understand the fundamentals of Lean and how it works, the difference between Lean and Six Sigma, how they complement each other, and basic Lean Systems such as the 8 Wastes, 5S, and One-Piece Flow. The participants will learn how these fit together and their benefits for efficiency and effectiveness in business and working environments.
Course topics include:
• Lean Concepts and Principles
• Lean Six Sigma Overview
• Waste Identification and understanding the concept of “value creation”
• Process Mapping
• 5S
• Kaizen
• Basic Problem Solving using the Seven Basic Quality Tools
What will the learners be able to do when they leave?
• Construct and analyze process flow diagrams
• Identify and eliminate process waste
• Solve basic problems using a robust and methodical approach
• Organize their workspace for maximum efficiency.

Lean Silver Level

Program Length: 4.5 days
Prerequisites: Lean Bronze
Cost: $1950
Program includes: All course materials, lunch each day.
This program builds on the bronze curriculum and expands the learner’s exposure to Lean tools and systems. This program is a “must attend” for participants that want to obtain an understanding of not just what these Japanese words and terms mean, but how they build upon each other and how and when to implement them at your organization. • Lean Scheduling / Hyjunka / Pull systems
• Misasumachi
• (SMED) Single minute exchange of dies
• Mistake Proofing / Jidoka
• Total Productive Maintenance
What will the learner be able to do when they leave?
Participants in this program will gain new insights and understanding of more advanced Lean tools and systems. This includes how to define, create, and manage Value Streams. Learners will also be able to identify and eradicate process constraints in both manufacturing and business settings. Create and implement standard work and leader standard work.
